Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit.
Psalm 32:1-1
Today’s home daily bible reading shows how it is to be blessed when God forgives us and what it takes to be forgiven.
When we go to God and ask for forgiveness, we need to be humble, honest, and repentant. When God sees we are truly sorry for the sin we’ve committed He does the following:
- Forgives us.
- The sin isn’t imputed or counted against us.
- And He covers our sins.
He will again have compassion on us And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins
Micah 7:19
Into the depths of the sea.
RepeNt and RepeAt have only one difference in spelling, but it makes a big difference when it comes to being healed, delivered, and set free by our Father in heaven. Repent from your sin and don’t repeat them so you can be blessed by God’s forgiveness.
Prayer
Precious Father of Life, thank you for forgiving us of the sins we used to commit, and thank you for being kind, loving, and faithful to us. In Jesus’ name, I pray the unrepentant and active sinners will become humble and come to you so they can be cleansed and forgiven. In Jesus’ name – Amen.
