There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

Romans 8:1, 8

We all can use some good news every once in a while! Today the good news can be found in Romans 8:1, 8.

We were condemned to die, but Jesus came to this earth, died on the cross and He walked out of that borrowed tomb, and acquitted us of all charges!

If we are in Christ that means we are believing in Him as our Lord and Savior and we have given Him rule over our lives. We no longer desire to live in sin but live according to how Jesus commands us to live.

Lord thank you for your sacrifice so we wouldn’t be condemned to death because of our sins. Thank you for making a way for us to approach you and ask for forgiveness through your only Son Jesus and finished work on the cross. We long for the day to be with you for an eternity. In Jesus’ name – Amen.
