“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”Matthew 6:31-34
I believed God used the pandemic to cause us to refocus and seek Him and He didn’t let us down. He kept many people through the shortages in jobs, public services, and so forth. He didn’t let us down. Recently we were faced with another issue when an oil company’s computer system was hacked and shut down the flow of oil on the eastern seaboard. Now, these things will stress us to the limit if we allow it.
It’s pretty wise to assume there will be more man-made shortages but we shouldn’t worry about it because we know that whatever we need, the Lord will supply it for us. How? Because our Father in heaven has knowledge of what we need before we ask. We have to remember to seek God over all the material things that run out our intentionally held back people in power.
- We are living in perilous times and if we aren’t careful, we can be consumed with doubt, fear, ungodly and irrational thinking.
- Fast and pray.
- Seek God and according to what He’s taught me, I can promise it’ll all work out. Provision will be waiting when we get there.
