Today’s Bible Reading Side Note – Joshua 4:22-23

February 15, 2019

Today’s Side Note from the Daily Home Bible Reading’s Joshua 4:19-24, verses 22-23 tell us about God drying up the Jordan River so the Israelites could cross it.

Then ye shall let your children know, saying, Israel came over this Jordan on dry land. For the Lord your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the Lord your God did to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were gone over:

Joshua 4:22-23

God will do the same thing for us when we reach a place in our journey that hinders our progress. Whatever your Jordan River is, God can dry it up so you can get on the other side. And when he does, remember to testify to our God’s power and how He uses it to help His chidren today.
